Paramedic training, written by practitioners and delivered online. RustyMedic is one of our own ventures — the studio built and runs it, which means every decision here is one we live with.
What we built
- A production learning platform on WordPress and LearnDash, with course structure, quizzes and pass marks.
- Interactive clinical scenarios — scored, branching simulations where a learner’s choices change what the patient does next.
- Sign-in handled by a dedicated identity provider, so the site stores no passwords of its own.
- Bot-resistant sign-up, added the week automated sign-ups started beating the honeypot — verified against real and forged submissions, and built to fail open so a real learner is never locked out.
Rigour in the content, too
Clinical material is reviewed before it ships, and corrected when review finds something. Claims the business couldn’t back — accreditation it didn’t hold, testimonials nobody gave — were taken off the site, not left for a regulator to find.
