Boundary Condition is a venture accelerator, and one of our own ventures. The site is the first thing a founder sees, and its forms collect exactly the kind of information a founder shouldn’t have to worry about.
What we built
- A custom WordPress theme, shipped as an immutable container image: the code that runs is the code that was reviewed, and nothing is edited on the server.
- Three intake paths — founders, mentors and partners, and companies expanding into Canada — each asking only what it needs.
- Submissions kept private — visible to administrators only, never exposed through the site’s public interfaces.
- Layered spam protection — a challenge, a honeypot, a minimum completion time, per-address rate limits and allow-listed fields.
- Personal data with an end date — a retention limit, plus export and erasure through WordPress’s own privacy tools.
Nothing it can’t back
The site claims no portfolio, mentors, fund or dates until they’re real. An accelerator asks founders for honesty; its website should offer the same.
