In three weeks you get a written plan for when something goes wrong, alerts that tell you it has, clear on-call terms, a practice run with your team and a test restore of your backups — plus someone to call, if you want it.
For
Anyone whose plan for a break-in or outage is “call someone”.
Length
3 weeks
Price
Quoted in writing — scope and price within two business days of the form.
Three weeks from “call someone” to a plan your team has rehearsed.
Week by week
Week 1 — the plan and the signals. Who does what, in what order, and
who has to be told. A detection baseline, so the first sign of trouble
reaches a person rather than a log file.
Week 2 — the terms. On-call arrangements written down: who picks up,
how they’re reached, and what they’re allowed to do at 3 a.m. Gaps found in
week one closed.
Week 3 — the rehearsal. A tabletop exercise that walks your team through
a realistic incident, and a restore drill that brings a backup back and
times it.
What happens after
The plan and the drill results are yours. If you’d rather have someone to
call than a number to find, an optional response retainer puts us on the other
end of the plan.
